    Neglecting our hands and feet is a common habit of many of us. Cracked heels happens when we ignore our feet for long time and also due to lack of moisturizer. They leaves a very embarrassing impression on others and are very painful. In severe case it results in bleeding and pain. There are natural ways to cure the damaged heels, we discuss them one by one. First of all, we must know its symptoms & causes. They are as follow;

    The symptoms are cracks appear on feet, dryness, bleeding, red flaky patches appears on feet, itchiness.

    Causes:

    The factors causes damaged heels are stated as below;

    • Excessive feet activity
    • Prolong standing at home or at work
    • Continuous exposure to water
    • Lack of feet care
    • Lack of moisturizing
    • Hard floors
    • Dryness and scaly skin
    • Deficiency of vitamins, minerals and zinc

    Tips:

    1. Apply a mixture of glycerin and rose water to soothe cracked heels.

      Rub your feet with a mixture of 1 tsp. of Vaseline and one lemon juice. It is best to use before going to bed as it is an overnight treatment.

    3. Apply pulp of ripe banana and leave this mixture on your feet for ten minutes and then rinse off your feet and let them dry.

    • 1tsp. salt
    • a lemon
    • soap
    • good foot file
    • foot brush
    • towel
    • pure glycerin
    • a pair of thick socks

    Fill the tub with water. Add salt, lemon juice and soap in it. Soak your feet in tub of water for fifteen minutes to soften your dry cracked feet.

    Step#2: Scrub & File

    Now scrub and file your feet for long time for getting soft and smooth cracked free heels.

    Step#3: Brush

    Now properly brush your feet from top to bottom while taking out your feet from water.

    Step#4: Wash & Dry

    Now wash your feet with warm water and pat them dry with towel.

    Step#5: Moisturize

    Massage your foot skin with pure glycerin, it will moisturize your skin deeply.

    Step#6: Cover

    Now cover your feet with socks pair for minimum two hours.

    How to give yourself Pedicure – Tips & Tricks

    Our feet pick up the whole weight of our body and helps us to move from one place to another, so it is the foundation of our body. If the foundation is strong, healthy and beautiful then it will give a prettier impact to the whole body. So we should take care of our feet by spending some time on pedicure. It’s a cosmetic treatment of the feet, as removal of corns and trimming of toenails, performed at home or in a salon.
    Now the question arises that how can we do it easily at home???

    Things you’ll need:

    Following instruments/things are required forĀ self pedicure:

    1. Nail polish remover
    2. Warm water
    3. Cuticle oil or olive oilpedicure
    4. Tub
    5. Towel
    6. Nail file
    7. Nail cutter
    8. Moisturizer
    9. Pumice stone
    10. Nail polish
    11. Cotton swab
    12. Cleanser
    13. Orange stick
    14. Bath salts

    Instructions:

    • Firstly remove the nail polish that was previously applied to your nails with the help of nail polish remover.
    • If you need to trim the nails or cuticles, soak your feet in plain warm water.
    • Now gently trim cuticles.
    • After this file your nails to desired shape but remember file your nails only in one direction.
    • Now wash your feet with a gentle cleanser for 3-4 minutes.
    • Use a pumice stone to soften the soles and heels of your feet.
    • Once you finish this, wipe your feet with a towel and follow up with your favorite moisturizer.
    • Apply the nail polish and when it dries apply the second coat of nail polish.
    • Finally finish your pedicure by applying a top coat of nail polish and let it dry for additional 20 minutes.

    • Avoid over soaking, it may dry the skin, damage your nails, and hurt the cuticles.
    • Never over push or over trim the cuticles, it cause nail problems.
    • Avoid cutting nails too short.
